Can I bring my dog to Castle Howard?
Dogs are very welcome at Castle Howard. Please keep them on a lead at all times and make sure to clean up after your pets.

Dogs are also welcome in outdoor seating areas at the site's cafés and water bowls are provided.

Only assistance dogs are allowed in the House, Skelf Island Adventure Playground and Kelly Car Land Train.

Are pushchairs allowed inside the house at Castle Howard?
Pushchairs are not permitted in the House, but can be stored in a pushchair holding area at the house entrance. 'Hip-seats' can be borrowed to assist in carrying children (6 months to 3 years old) throughout the house.

Yes, Castle Howard has installed facilities that enable wheelchair users to enjoy the site.

All outside surfaces are accessible, with the exception of Ray Wood.
